Kicking Off 2025: Training, Testing, and Looking Ahead
The first two months of 2025 have been a whirlwind of travel, training, and tactical innovation. From the rugged mountains of Italy to the bustling halls of SHOT Show in Las Vegas, we’ve been fully immersed in testing, refining, and planning for the months ahead.
January – A Strong Start in Italy
We kicked off the year in the Italian mountains, just outside of Milan, joining forces with Hollow Point Group to put new and existing equipment through its paces. This wasn’t just another range day—it was a carefully planned mix of long-range shooting sessions and a CQB killhouse day, allowing us to push our gear in varied, high-intensity environments.
The focus? Plate carriers and a new belt kit, both of which needed real-world stress testing. As always, the best way to evaluate gear is to run it in conditions as close to reality as possible, and the diverse Italian terrain provided the perfect backdrop.
Of course, no trip to Italy is complete without a little downtime. After long days of training and adjustments, we made time for some well-deserved wine and pizza—because balance is key.
From the Range to SHOT Show
Straight from the mountains, we headed to Las Vegas for SHOT Show 2025. For those in the industry, SHOT Show isn’t just about checking out the latest and greatest gear—it’s an opportunity to confirm ideas, make connections, and ensure we’re on the right path with upcoming projects. This year’s event gave us valuable insights, helping us refine our approach as we continue to push the boundaries of equipment development.
February – Refinement and Preparation
With SHOT Show behind us, February has been all about refinement. We’ve been testing and adjusting gear based on everything we learned in January, ensuring every detail is dialed in before our next major trip. Looking ahead to May, we’re preparing for another round of equipment testing in the U.S., where we’ll not only push our gear further but also capture content to share our process with the wider community.
The first two months of 2025 have been all about setting the stage for what’s to come. With more testing, more training, and more innovation on the horizon, the year is already shaping up to be one for the books. Stay tuned—big things are coming.
